At Amplified Access, we’re looking for a curious, creative, and mission-driven Software Developer to design, build, and scale tools that empower communities and advance digital rights across East Africa and beyond.

What you’ll do:
- Build and maintain web + mobile applications
- Design secure, scalable system architectures
- Collaborate with our agile team, partners, and vendors
- Turn bold ideas into real-world civic tech solutions
What we’re looking for:
- Strong skills in Python, JavaScript (Node.js, React), and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of API design, testing frameworks, and security best practices
- Familiarity with Agile workflows and Git
- A creative problem-solver who thrives in small, nimble teams
